Face Masks: At Orange, face masks are no longer a requirement however public health advice is that masks continue to be strongly encouraged when indoors. Wearing a mask is a key health measure that slows the spread of COVID-19 in indoor settings. We ask that all visitors to programme, including parents and whanau, wear a mask whenever they are indoors on programme grounds. Staff are also required to wear face masks indoors.
Face Masks in Vehicles: In line with public health guidance, all children aged 12yrs + are required to wear face masks while travelling in ElimKids vehicles. Please ensure your child has a mask when being dropped off and picked up each day.
Catered Meal/Food Service will continue in accordance with Public Health guidance, and will be seated, separate and single service.
Sick Children MUST stay home. Please do not be offended if your child appears unwell and is sent home. Our priority is the wellbeing of your child, other children and staff.
Increased hand-washing/sanitising and cough/sneeze etiquette will be encouraged as is expected. Frequent cleaning and santising of equipment and high touch surfaces remains in effect.
Children MUST have water bottles. Our water fountains and water coolers have been turned off – you will need to provide your child with a water bottle that we can refill.
COVID-19 Vaccination Status and Vaccine Passports Children and families are not required to vaccinate or show Vaccine Passes to access an OSCAR programme. If your child is vaccinated, please take a moment to let us know – this becomes more important in Holiday Programme as we book offsite excursions to venues requiring vaccine passes for children aged 12ys 3mo and older. EKO staff are vaccinated and hold current vaccine passes.
ElimKids is committed to the provision of a safe programme, within the COVID-19 requirements and ensuring our programme delivery is of an excellent standard. Our priority in every instance is ensuring we do our very best for our EKO children, their families and our staff.
